Shiny Lakeside Resort (formerly Nature Resort) is under new ownership and open for the 2013/2014 season. The Resort offers, waterside bungalows, floating lake safaris, special BBQ's. It is an Eco Friendly hotel situated on the Hikkaduwa (Bird) Lake which is 2.5km away from the Hikkaduwa main town and one hour drive along the southern highway from Colombo. Currently repairing and updating many facilities at the resort.
